Pongal kolam

Pongal is celebrated in Tamilnadu widely in the mid of January month (1st day of Thai - Tamil month).  Pongal is the harvest festival.  People say thanks to nature which gives good harvest. They draw pongal kolangal in front of the house to spread happiness to all.
